Project Psychotherapy has begun! The purpose of Project Psychotherapy is to inform people about psychotherapy and introduce some of the people who do it.

The first purpose, informing people about psychotherapy, is to counteract some of the misinformation and lack of information out there. Popular media depictions of therapists are mixed, at best!

The second purpose, introducing some of the people who do it, is to help people find a therapist who is a good fit. Research is pretty reliable in showing that therpeutic alliance, or the strength of the connection between the therapist and the person seeking help, is the most important factor in positive outcomes. Project Psychotherapy aims to let people meet some of these therapists in order to find the right one.

How, you ask? Stay tuned...
